This summer, the BC coast has had an unprecedented amount of whale sightings, and I wanted to pay tribute to these magnificent creatures for gracing us with their presence by refreshing this painting with a family of Orcas. the scene is a view from The Wild Pacific Trail, on the edge of the Ucluelet Peninsula on the western side of Vancouver Island.
